
Dr. Douglas C. Scott M.D., M.P.H is a board certified and Harvard University residency trained occupational and environmental medicine physician with 42 years of experience providing occupational and environmental medicine services in Colorado and nationwide. Dr. Scott is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Colorado and has consulting offices with exam facilities in Denver, Colorado Springs, Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction, Colorado.
Dr. Scott is recognized as an expert witness in occupational medicine, workers compensation medical care, vibration, noise, and repetitive strain medical disorders by the Colorado Office of Administrative Courts. Dr. Scott is a member of the Colorado Division of Workers Compensation Independent Medical Evaluation physician panel and medical treatment utlitization review panel. He is a Fully Accredited Level II physician to rate impairment in the State of Colorado.
Dr. Scott has a Masters Degree in Public Health in occupational and environmental health from the Harvard School of Public Health with training and experience addressing occupational toxicological exposures including ingestion of, inhalation of, and skin contact exposures to hydrocarbons, mold, asbestos, silica, radionuclides, heavy metals, chemical substances and infectious bio-organisms.
Dr. Scott is the past President of the Rocky Mountain Academy of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Dr. Scott is also a member of the University of Colorado School of Medicine Alumni Association Board.

On 1/22/2023 Dr. Scott was awarded 13 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits for participating in the on line education titled: Level II Re-Accreditation Seminar in Denver, Colorado.
On 3/23/2016 Dr. Scott was awarded 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 continuing medical education credits for participating in the Mountain and Plains ERC educational activity entitled: The Opioid Crisis: Guidelines and Tools for Improving Chronic Pain Management
Dr. Scott was acknowledged on 10/20/2016 by the Colorado Division of Workers' Compensation for 25 years of service to the Division's Independent Medical Examination physician panel.
Sharon L. Scott R.N., J.D.
Ms. Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the
University of Colorado School of Nursing and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence
from the University of Colorado School of Law.
She is a licensed practicing public health nurse and licensed as a private attorney in the State of Colorado. Ms. Scott performs medical legal review of medical records and assists Dr. Scott in addressing the medical issues of a claim and public and occupational health issues in the workplace.
